night at Vienna Praterstern. A car driver and his companion confuse the street with the pedestrian promenade Praterhauptallee, further mistaking the pedestrian underpass, leading to the center of the roundabout, for the drive-up to the motorway. Just before hitting the show window of a bar, the car is stopped by ramming a few empty chairs. In the audio play, the accident and subsequent events are remembered by four witnesses. Yet, from the beginning, contradictions occur, then turning into ruptures. The reconstruction eventually breaks into to three different ends. While these endings \u2014 tragical, satirical and in the shape of a mystery \u2014 have determined the structure of each respective story, the meta-narrative dissolves further in the dark.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-size: 10pt;\">In 2005 the piece was installed by Martina Lunzer Brem for three weeks in 2005 inside a freely accessible broken car at Praterstern. It has been replayed for the first time at &#8220;shut up and listen!&#8221; in 2006. Between the years 2004 and 2010, she has been intensely engaged at the intersections of film, audio play and sound art via programming events, journalistic writings and by her own productions. After finishing her studies in Fine Arts as well as Cultural Studies, Lunzer has been developing a book and film project on the history of dream research, accompanied by a dissertation.
