F\u00fcr mich war klar, dass die Dauer der Wiederholungen grundlegend dar\u00fcber entscheidet, welchen emotionellen Eindruck sie vermitteln.<\/span><\/em><\/p><p><em><span style=\"font-size: 10pt;\">F\u00fcr mich erschien es so, dass, w\u00e4hrend die Ver\u00e4nderung einer der wichtigsten Faktoren der Zeit, also der Natur ist, die Wiederholung einen menschlichen Aspekt der Ereignisse darstellt. She continued her studies under Wolfgang Schulz at the University of Music and Performing Arts in Vienna, graduating with honours (unanimous vote) in 1987. During her studies she became the solo-flautist for the Vienna Chamber Orchestra, in 1988 the solo-flautist of the Lower Austrian Tonk\u00fcnstler Orchestra (Vienna) and in 1991 she became the assistant of Wolfgang Schulz at the University of Music and Performing Arts (Vienna). In 1991 she founded the \u201eEnsemble Wien 2001\u201c with the composer Nader Mashayekhi<\/span><br \/><span style=\"font-size: 10pt;\">and has taken a keen interest in contemporary music ever since. She spent 1993 in Z\u00fcrich (Switzerland) as the solo-flautist for the orchestra of the Z\u00fcrich opera house, while continuing her studies under Aur\u00e8le Nicolet. From 1994 to 2011 she was appointed professor at the Anton-Bruckner private university in Linz and held summerclasses as well as workshops in Europe, Japan and the U.S.A. Together with percussionist Berndt Thurner she founded the duo \u201eDouble Image\u201c in 1995, an ensemble with a rich repertoire of original compositions written specifically for them. Between 1997 and 2001 she taught Chamber music at the University of Music and Performing Arts in Vienna and since 2001 she has been mentoring and teaching a concert class at the Leonard-Bernstein-Institute (since 2011 she has been a senior lecturer there). Since 2009 Gisela Mashayekhi-Beer has also been professor at the Joseph-Haydn-Conservatory in Eisenstadt (Burgenland.
