New York-based artist Mandy Morrison mutates into a slightly disturbing version of John Wayne alias Marion Morrison. The performance <i>CARTE BLEU<\/i> is a contemporary take on Yves Klein\u2019s Symphonie Monoton-Silence, realized by dancer and choreographer Aiko Kazuko Kurosaki and the musicians Tiziana Bertoncini, Irene Kepl and noid. The same trio performs graphic scores from Franz Hautzinger\u2019s work series <i>Gomberg Scores<\/i>. In <i>Ur-Ur<\/i>, Bernhard G\u00e1l presents compositional miniatures based on genealogical data. Manon-Liu Winter performs early and late piano works by John Cage, Marcel Duchamp, Franz Liszt and Erik Satie, compiled into an unannounced concert programme quizzing the audience. Belma Be\u0161li\u0107-G\u00e1l presents three parallel realities respective to states of consciousness based on Fellini\u2019s filmic masterpiece <i>La Dolce Vita<\/i>. Students of the <i>ELAK<\/i>-Course (University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna) create new electroacoustic works inspired by the photography of the songwriter and musician Daniel Pabst (who also presents a photo exhibition). Last, but not least, a listening session featuring Derek Jarman\u2019s final cinematic document <i>Blue <\/i>and a subsequent brunch conclude this year\u2019s festival
